Our Occupational Health and Safety Policy

At Baykal Makina Tic. San. A.Ş., we consider ensuring a sustainable work environment by protecting the health and safety of our employees, visitors, and stakeholders to be an integral part of our business and a fundamental management priority.

In this regard, our commitments at Baykal Makina Tic. San. A.Ş. are as follows:

  • To comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331 and all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards,
  • To prevent workplace accidents and occupational diseases that may arise from our activities,
  • To eliminate risks at their source, and if this is not possible, to minimize them,
  • Systematically identifying occupational health and safety hazards, conducting risk assessments, and keeping them up to date,
  • Ensuring the safety of work equipment, machinery, and work environments, and conducting periodic inspections on time,
  • Providing health surveillance for employees in accordance with regulations,
  • Ensuring the suitability of personal protective equipment and encouraging its proper use,
  • Providing regular occupational health and safety training to our employees and relevant parties,
  • Ensuring employee participation in OHS processes and taking their opinions and suggestions into account,
  • Being prepared for emergencies; developing emergency plans and conducting drills for situations such as fires, explosions, natural disasters, chemical spills, etc.,
  • Ensuring that subcontractors, suppliers, and visitors also comply with OSH regulations,
  • Monitoring, measuring, and continuously improving OSH performance,
  • Promoting a culture of safe behavior and instilling the “people first, safety first” philosophy in all our employees.

As the senior management of Baykal Makina Tic. San. A.Ş., we consider it our responsibility to provide the necessary resources for the implementation of our occupational health and safety policy and to support all employees in adopting and implementing this policy.
